Since I discovered this bread, I just can’t stop baking it and ordering it every time I go to the coffee shop where they sell it (The owner taught me the recipe after the insistence of this peculiar bread-lover client).

First time I tried it I thought “Wow, this is sooooo good that of course it should be very hard to make”… Thanks to the angels, because it just couldn’t be easier and faster!

Here we go:

• 3 cups of Flour
• 4.5 tea spoons of Baking Powder
• 4.5 table spoons of Sugar
• 2 tea spoons of Salt
• 1/3 Lt. Beer (Any beer – I prefer it with dark ones)
• Dried fruits (All the different kinds you like and as much as you
want. My favorites? Almonds and dried cranberries)
• Olive oil or Butter (To paint the top of the bread)
• Honey (Any kind)

1- Put the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and dried fruits together in a bowl.
2- Add the beer slowly right before it goes to the oven.
3- Mix it very well (Preferably with your hands so the dough will blend well)
4- Place it in the oven for 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
5- Take it out, make holes and paint the top of the bread with a mix of honey and olive oil or butter (It will go down the holes and make it even yummier!)
6- 10 more minutes in the oven… and done!

Enjoy this amazing recipe, and happy bread’s day!
(Not sure it really exists, so I just made it up for the occasion).
