In November 2013, I visited a dear friend in Amsterdam. She is always discovering new superfoods and told me about Hemp. I was like “What?!”… Hemp, she repeated.
I thought “Ufff another super food among all the million super foods that we should all eat” (sigh…)

After she cooked for me using Hemp, my only comment was Wow! It was sooo tasty, that I couldn’t care less about the benefits and was just asking her for more. I started researching the benefits and with no doubt, I decided to add it to my life.

Before you freak out, yes! Hemp seeds are the comestible part of Cannabis Sativa… but don’t worry, you won’t get high, only healthier.

Hemp is not only a wholesome source of plant-based protein, but also a rich source of vitamins and minerals.

Hemp has the perfect balance of Omega-3 to Omega-6, which the body needs for optimal skin health, nervous system function, brain development, heart health and immune system support. Hemp promotes and improves digestion, helps to reduce cravings for sugars, increases energy, helps keeping healthy cholesterol levels and more.

Hemp seeds look like a sesame seed and you can also find them pressed for oil, as protein powder or shelled and made into hemp foods.
My favorite way of eating Hemp is just by sprinkling it on top of every salad, dish, fruit, avocado paste, etc… Hemp everywhere! Also, I love it in my green juice or smoothie,Hemp gives them an amazing plus.

So just hemp your life!
